Angelina Jolie Wears Breezy Ivory Dress to White House with Son Maddox
Angelina Jolie was a vision in all-white while attending the White House State Dinner yesterday evening. The actress and film director, who rarely makes red-carpet appearances, brought her eldest son, Maddox Jolie-Pitt, as her date.
The celebration was organized in honor of South Korean President Yoon Suk Yeol. Angelina and Maddox were among a long list of notable international figures invited.

For the grand occasion, Jolie dressed in a breezy ivory gown which was cinched at the waist and featured a flowy skirt and V neckline. Over it, she layered a quilted mini jacket in the same hue, by Chanel. She finished the sophisticated look with golden heels, a golden clutch bag, a gold-colored pearl necklace, and matching pearl-drop earrings. She wore a subtle smoky eye, bold red lipstick, and a relaxed wavy hairdo.
Next to Jolie, Maddox looked dapper in a black suit and tie, crisp white dress shirt, black dress shoes, and black-framed eyeglasses.

Jolie is well-know for her sophisticated, timeless style. While she stays mostly out of the spotlight these days, when she does make an appearance, it's usually in an elegant, monochromatic ensemble.
Last month, she was spotted having lunch at Nobu in Malibu, California, in a relaxed yet impossibly chic all-black outfit. The centerpiece of her look was a black ribbed maxi dress, which featured fluttering cape sleeves and circular cutouts at her waist. She paired the dress with more black pieces, including suede pumps and square sunglasses, and accessorized simply with an array of silver earrings and rings.

She also showed off her classic color palette during a night out in January. To attend an event at New York City's Lincoln Center with her eldest daughter, Zahara Jolie-Pitt, the Those Who Wish Me Dead star put together an angelic ensemble consisting of a black textured cape layered over an ivory silk slipdress paired with beige pumps. She accessorized simply with large diamond stud earrings and carried the Cassandre leather pouch by Saint Laurent by Anthony Vaccarello.
